Venues in : New York - Lower East Side

The Lower East Side is a neighborhood in southern Manhattan from East Houston to the East River and is bordered by Chinatown, the East Village, and Nolita. Originally a diverse immigrant neighborhood, it has undergone significant gentrification in recent years. Since 2006, the Lower East Side has become an alternative location to Chelsea for contemporary art galleries wishing to open spaces in close proximity to the New Museum.
