About Light Art :
Light Art consists of artworks that incorporate elements of light, natural or artificial, as main components. Light Art pieces are most often in the form of installations, sculptures, and architectural works, with notable examples being James Turrell's "skyspaces"--square apertures he cuts in the roofs of structures to allow for the viewing of the sky and natural light--and Dan Flavin's fluorescent light pieces. Other artists who work with Light Art include Keith Sonnier, Jason Rhoades, Anthony McCall, Bruce Nauman, and Olafur Eliasson.
