About this Artwork :
This sculpture, done in collaboration with Pharrell Williams, consists of a Plexiglass sculpture of Murakami's recurrent character, "Mr. DOB," with his mouth gaping open to reveal a still-life-like table containing seven of Pharrell's favorite things. In true hip-hop fashion, these objects--a cupcake, a bag of Doritos, a ketchup bottle, a Pepsi can, a sneaker, a condom, and a bottle of baby lotion--are all blinged-out in gold and precious jewels, courtesy of Jacob the Jeweler. … (read more)
