What is the difference between being a contact or following someone?

Adding someone as contact means that you know and trust them. As a general rule, ArtWeLove recommends its users to only accept contacts whom they know personally. Following someone is a way to keep up with ArtWeLove users whom you might not know, but whose points of view and artistic preferences you share. This will enable you to stay current on artist, shows and venues that these users recommend and/or favor.

What happens with the data I share on ArtWeLove?

ArtWeLove is socially-enabled with one only goal in mind: The love of art. This means that only your artistic preferences are shared in your ArtWeLove profile such as your profile picture, your bio, your favorite venues, artists, shows, your contacts and the people who follow you and who you follow (this does not mean that people can automatically befriend your friends though).
